Environment

The processes of managing the built environment are a great reference to environmental issues and concerns, in general, the entire urban extensions.

They have normative references (European, national and local) that require the preparation of specific mitigation plans (noise plans, pollution plans, etc..).

From the point of view of technical analysis, the processes of urban environmental management needs of applications like modeling developed in the scientific sphere, because the cognitive media are not always directly assumed by the management entity.

But managing the built environment also affects the improved delivery of public services and urban public space. These issues are supported with the implementation of models of simulation, evaluation and optimization.

In particular, the group has long been engaged in the following environmental issues:inq_acustico

  • Air pollution

  • Waste
  • Transports
  • Sub-services and technology networks
  • accessibility to urban public spaces, particularly in relation to persons with disabilities.
